Jean Basquiat's work seems very abstract and quickly made with it's style, looking messy but still keeping a model/subject/theme to be seen in it. His work is a very different style to most artwork, having a graffiti but also child-like look to it.
At first his work seems a bit strange and not that interesting, but as I began to observe his work more, it became more shaped and formed into something, representing certain things.
His artwork takes the shapes of people in his own art style, not being detailed and neat, but a quick, messy and expressive way, giving it a strange yet alluring look that would require people to look at it for longer to see what's in his work and what it might mean or be referencing to.
